"Academics & Athletics ... Building Character For A Better Future"
The Buford Athletic Booster Club (BABC) welcomes you to the 2017-18 athletic year! Would you please consider becoming a member of the BABC? Many of you have a long tradition of BABC membership, so please know how much we appreciate and value your support. This letter will explain our purpose and some of what we do to support our student-athletes and coaches in Buford City Schools.
The Buford Athletic Booster Club is made up of parents and friends of the athletes and coaches at Buford High School and Buford Middle School. The meetings occur quarterly in the fall, winter, spring, and summer. The main objectives of the BABC are to provide funding for ALL SPORTS and to offer support to our players and coaches during the entire athletic year.
Some items funded in 2016-17 by the BABC:
We had a great year in 2016-17 in state competitions! BHS State Championship Teams: Softball, Volleyball, Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball (first-ever!), Wrestling, and Girls Track (first-ever!). BHS State Runners-Up Team: Football, Gymnastics, and Girls Soccer (first-ever!). State Final Four: Boys Tennis (first-ever!). In overall sports standing for points acquired in state playoff events, we acquired our most points ever - a truly record-breaking year in athletics! We look forward to another great year in athletics in 2017-18---we recognize that we cannot do it without your support of the BABC.
The BABC Membership Application is below, with details of the different levels of membership and their benefits. Please look over the application closely as there changes to the benefits at certain club levels. Please complete the application and return by mail as soon as possible to the address which is provided, or drop off your application to the front office of Buford High School.
We welcome and appreciate your support even if you do not have a child in a sport at this time. Thanking you in advance and GO WOLVES!
