The Buford Athletic Club (BAC) welcomes you to the 2024-25 athletic year! Please note that the Buford Athletic Club operates and functions through the Buford High School Athletic Department.  The BAC’s main objective is to provide support and funding for ALL SPORTS at Buford High School and Buford Middle School. All finances of the BAC are managed by Buford High School. The BAC will continue the long tradition in seeking and depending upon the financial support of our parents and community to help provide first-class athletic teams in Buford City Schools.  Many of you have a long tradition of BAC membership, so please know how much we appreciate and value your support of the BAC in 2024-2025.

Some items funded in 2023-24 by the BAC:

 

$139,500 given as budgets to 23 BHS sports programs

$ 4,300 for letters, bars, and certificates awarded to athletes at banquets

$ 1,000 to sports teams for state playoff expenses

$ 17,000 for sports medicine supplies

$ 1,500 for Scholar-Athlete Patches and Cords

 

We had a great year in 2023-24 in state competitions!

BHS State Championship Teams: Softball, Gymnastics, Boys Lacrosse. 

BHS State Runners-Up Teams:  Girls Soccer, Comp Cheer, Wrestling, and Dance (Jazz)

BHS State Final Four Teams: Girls Track and Field (3rd) 

 

We also finished 2nd  the GADA 7A Director’s Cup in over-all standings.  Our girlsteam tied for 1st place in the Director's Cup.  This was our second year competing in 7A and we look forward to the challenge of another great year of athletics in 2024-2025, and we recognize that we cannot do it without your support of the BAC.

The BAC Membership Application is attached, with details of the different levels of membership and their benefits. Please look over the application closely as there are changes to the benefits at certain club levels. Please visit www.gofan.co to join the BAC through credit or debit card. We welcome and appreciate your support, even if you do not have a child in a sport at this time.

We will contact you via email during the last week of July to announce dates and times for the distribution of membership incentives.
