The Buford Athletic Club (BAC) welcomes you to the 2025-26 athletic year! Please note that the Buford Athletic Club operates and functions through the Buford High School Athletic Department. The BAC’s main objective is to provide support and funding for ALL SPORTS at Buford High School and Buford Middle School. All finances of the BAC are managed by Buford High School. The BAC will continue the long tradition in seeking and depending upon the financial support of our parents and community to help provide first-class athletics teams in Buford City Schools. Many of you have a long tradition of BAC membership, so please know how much we appreciate and value your support of the BAC in 2025-26.
Some items funded in 2024-25 by the BAC:
$140,500 given as budgets to 26 BHS sports programs.
$1,500 for letters, bars, certificates awarded to athletes at banquets.
$1,500 additional money to help teams with state playoff expenses.
$7,000 for BMS sports programs.
$1,500 for Scholar-Athlete patches and cords.
Additional funding for sports facilities repairs, equipment, upgrades, branding.
We had a great year in 2024-25 in state competitions!
BHS State Champions: Boys Track and Field
BHS State Runner-Up Teams: Softball, Wrestling, Gymnastics, Girls Soccer, Girls Track.
BHS Final Four Teams: Football, Dance, Riflery, Boys Lacrosse.
We placed 3rd in the GADA 6A Director’s Cup in overall standings. We look forward to another great year of athletics in 2025-26, and we recognize that we cannot do it without the support of the BAC.
