The Lady Wolves will again be on the hunt for their 3rd straight state championship after beating the Lady Panthers of Southwest Dekalb this past Saturday at Columbus State University.  The Lady Wolves used their trademark pressure defense to hold the Lady Panthers way below their season scoring average and it was a good thing due to the Lady Wolves struggling to find their offensive flow.  The Lady Wolves had a hard time finding their mark as countless shots bounced in and out and keep the visitors in the game.  In the end, the Lady Wolves relentless pressure on SWD was the difference as the Lady Wolves were able to score in transition and create some easy points.

Tate Walters lead the Lady Wolves in the scoring column with 21 points and was the only player to muster double figure scoring.  Many other players contributed points in the win and all played aggressive defense to come out with the W.

See what the Gwinnett Daily Post and Access North Georgia had to say about the win below.

This sets the stage for another state championship title game with the Lady Wildcats of Villa Rica.  The Lady Wildcats are undefeated and should have revenge on their minds as the Lady Wolves eliminated them in the Final Four in last years matchup.

Hope to see everyone in Macon this Friday for this championship matchup.  Tip Off is at 6:00 at the Macon Centreplex

GOOOOO WOLVES!!!
