In game 2, Hollifield struck out 6 in 3.1 innings, and hit 2 more home runs to lead the Wolves to a 11-0, 5 inning victory and send the Wolves to the Elite 8 in Columbus next week. Hollifield pitched 10.1 innings, struck out 22, and allowed just 2 hits on the day, while going 6-6 with 3 home runs and 1 double.
Anabel Adams went 4-6 with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs. Abbi Perkins went 3-6 with 2 doubles, 1 RBI and 1 stolen base.
The Wolves (22-9) have won 11 straight and are advancing to Columbus and the Elite 8 for the 15th consecutive year.
