The Lady Wolves found themselves with their backs against the wall vs Holy Innocents in the battle of state champions from last year.  The Lady Wolves traveled to golden bear county and the bears were ready for the visitors from Buford.  The Lady Bears used their size and outside shooting to attack the Buford pressure and either scored easy transition baskets or connected on long range 3's as they built up to an 18 point lead vs the ladies in kelly and gold.  The Lady Wolves regrouped and started to chip away at the lead and battled back to a 9 point disadvantage at the half time buzzer.

The second half started like the beginning of the game as HI came out and knocked down the first 6 points of the third quarter with two long range 3 pointers to increase the lead back to 15.  From their the Lady Wolves continued to grind and work to bring the home teams lead to 10 points going into the fourth quarter.

The Lady Wolves then turned up both the full and half court pressure and continued to grind away until they took the lead with under 1 minute left in the game.  Key free throws from Tate Walters and a host of great defensive plays gave the Lady Wolves a 3 point victory over the defending A state champions from last year.

This was a great game played by both teams that will show benefits to both programs as they continue their quest to defend both titles from last year.

This win brings the total to 9-0 for the Lady Wolves this season.

Next up is the Nasmith Classic and a showdown with another Georgia girls basketball power in Norcross high school.

This game will be played at Norcross High School on Friday Dec 13 at 3:00 pm.  Please come out and support our ladies as they continue to represent the Kelly and Gold of BHS!

GOOOO WOLVES!!!!!
