It was a special day this past Saturday in the 1st Annual "Girls Day Out" event held at the Buford City Arena.

The event featured all of the Lady Wolves programs from 5th grade all the way up to our Varsity team getting to showcase present and future Lady Wolves from all our teams.  Adding to this special day was the recognizing of the  2010 State Championship team and their members.   It was a full day of basketball as all teams defeated our visitors from Gainesville.

5th Grade won 55 to 2, 6th grade won 46 to 39, 7th grade, won 44 to 17, 8th grade won 47 to 19, JV won 44 to 13 and our varsity capped off the evening with a 68 to 25 win to continue their undefeated streak.  As we have our winter break, the Lady Wolves now have a 12-0 record going into the new year.

The center piece of the night though was the recognizing of our 2010 state championship team and their accomplishments.  The video on the matrix board brought back many great memories of this team and their journey to Buford's 2nd straight state championship.  Seniors on that team, Kayla Burge, Jessica Ours, Lacey Pass, Alysha Rudnik and Ayana Ward all received a special plaque and many former Lady Wolves were there to celebrate with these former "Leaders of the Pack"

It was a great day of basketball getting to celebrate the past and watch our future as our program continues to set the standard of excellence.

Thank you to all the parents, fans and supporters who worked to make this a special event for so many people.

GOOOO WOLVES!!!!!
