The Lady Wolves found themselves in a fight this past Tuesday night as the home team scratched and clawed their way to another victory.  This win advanced the Lady Wolves to their fourth straight "Final Four" in the 5A state tournament.

The Lady Wolves started the game missing easy scoring opportunities though the miscues of layups, free throws and easy baskets around the rim.  As the offense sputtered, their trademark defense kept the Lady Trojans of Carrollton at bay to the tune of only scoring 17 first half points.

From there, the Lady Wolves swapped baskets with the visitors until a huge three by Tate Walters at the end of the third quarter gave the Lady Wolves a 9 point lead going into the final eight minutes of the battle.  From there the Lady Wolves dropped back to defend their lead by using a stingy half court defense to make the Lady Trojans work for any and every point they scored.

When the final buzzer sounded, the Lady Wolves grinded out another ticket to the Final Four by the score of 58 to 47 over the visitors from Carrollton.

Tate Walters lead the Lady Wolves in scoring netting 16 points, followed by Ashyia Willis with 12 and Abbi Perkins with 10.
