BUFORD — Ethan Murray’s three-run home run helped Buford’s baseball team pull away for a 6-3, season-opening win over South Forsyth on Tuesday.
Murray’s homer put the Wolves up 5-1 in the fourth inning. He finished 2-for-2 with four RBIs.
Teammate Cannon Goldin was 1-for-1 with three walks, two runs and a stolen base.
Nate Taylor started on the mound and struck out three with no walks over two scoreless innings, giving up two hits. Damian Brown pitched the final 2 1/3 innings for the save, giving up one hit and striking out five with no walks.
