BUFORD — Buford’s seven-run fifth inning powered an 8-3 victory over Loganville on Wednesday.

Cannon Goldin (3-for-4, double, two RBIs, run, stolen base), Cam Wood (2-for-3, double, RBI, two runs, stolen base), Madden Young (2-for-4, RBI, run, stolen base) and Blake Russell (1-for-3, double, two RBIs, run) led the Wolves’ offense.

Ayden Lockett (1-0) was the winning pitcher after a 2 2/3 inning relief outing. He struck out four, walked one, gave up four hits and allowed two runs (one earned).

Buford is 5-4 on the season.
