BUFORD — Nate Taylor’s performance on the mound and at the plate highlighted Buford’s 10-1 win over Dacula in 8-AAAAAAA on Monday.
Taylor (7-2) pitched 6 2/3 innings for the win, striking out 11 and walking one. He gave up one run on four hits. He also was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs.
Luke Hopper (1-for-2, two RBIs), Ayden Lockett (2-for-4, RBI, run, stolen base) and Cam Wood (2-for-3, run, walk, stolen base) also stood out for Buford (18-7-1, 12-0).
Dacula was led by David Falloon (2-for-3, RBI).
