The Lady Wolves got off to a fast start grabbing a 8-0 lead in the beginning minutes of the 5A semi finals vs Veterans, but then they went ice cold and nothing seems to work or be in sync.  It just seemed that it was one of those nights for the home team as they played in front of a great  crowd in the last home game of the season.  From players with cramping legs, to poor free throw shooting, to missed easy scoring opportunities, the Lady Wolves fought and clawed out a fifteen point win to advance them to the next round of the 5A tournament.  At this point in the season, it is all about surviving and advancing and this seemed to be the story of the night for the girls in Kelly and Gold.

Tate Walters lead the scoring for the Lady Wolves with 23 points, while freshmen Tatum Ozment chipped in 13 points for the winning cause.  Sara Viti added 11 points while connecting on three 3 point fields.

This win puts the Lady Wolves back into the "Final Four" and in the hunt for their third straight state championship.

The Lady Wolves will hit the road to the "Final Four" this Saturday as they play the Lady Panthers of Southwest Dekalb.  Tip off will be at 2:00 at Columbus State University.

Great job Ladies and GOOOOO WOLVES!!!
