The JV soccer season came to a close last night, as the Buford Lady Wolves defeated Clarke Central with a scoreline of 4-1.  The final record for the team was 5-4-1.

This season, the young team faced the toughest schedule a JV team has had to face in several years.  Some of the tougher opponents were North Gwinnett, Decatur, Lovett,  and Flowery Branch, who is currently ranked 2 in the state.  Facing one opponent at a time, the JV team defeated Decatur and Flowery Branch in tough and physical matches, and came close to keeping a clean sheet against Lovett in a demanding match early in the season.  The final amount of goals scored for and against this season is 24-18 in 10 matches.  The best win was a 9-1 game against Madison County, and the worst loss was 0-5 against North Gwinnett.

Three games had to be cancelled due to inclement weather: Apalachee, Oconee, and Cedar Shoals.
