The Lady Wolves will be back at home for the 1st round of the 5A State Tournament this Friday Feb 15 at the Buford City Arena.

The Lady Wolves will take on the Lady Bulldogs of Chamblee High School at 6:00 pm in a double header with the boys team.  Boys tip off time will be at 7:30.

Come out and support our Lady Wolves as they are on the hunt in defending their back to back 5A state titles.

We need the stands full of Kelly and Gold in support of our girls and boys programs.

The Lady Wolves took the next step of their season as they won their third straight region championship with a convincing 76 - 44 victory over the Lady Gladiators of Clarke Central.

It was all Lady Wolves from the start as they showed the team from Athens who was top dog or top wolf in this showdown.  The Lady Wolves pressure defense kept their opponent off balance the whole game and this constant pressure created many fast break scoring opportunities for many Lady Wolves players.

When the dust settled after three quarters, the Lady Wolves had a comfortable 29 point lead and all the wolf pack saw valuable playing time in this big stage of region play.

Blair Wallis was our leading scorer with 17 points followed by Sara Viti with 12.  Ebony Grant chipped in 10 for the winning cause.

This win gave the Lady Wolves another perfect region record for the season going 12-0 against all region opponents.

Great Job Ladies and now on to the Big Dance!!

Congratulations to Ebony Grant, Preston Reid and Tate Walters
