The Lady Wolves won a hard fought battle vs the Lady Eagles of Eagles Landing this past Tuesday at the Buford City Arena.  The Lady Wolves came into this game ranked #1 in class 5A, while the Lady Eagles were the #8 ranked team in the same classification.  

The game was sloppy as both teams traded baskets and also committed countless turnovers vs each team's pressure defense. When the first quarter buzzer sounded, the Lady Wolves held a slight three point lead by the score of 16 to 13.  The second quarter saw more of the same action with both teams keeping pace with each other and halftime brought the scoreboard to 30 to 29 in favor of the home team.  The Lady Wolves hit the offensive throttle in the third quarter and scored a season high 26 points to extend the third quarter lead to 56 to 46 in favor of ladies of Buford.  When the final horn sounded after a foul plagued fourth quarter, the win was secured by the score of 78 to 64, giving the Lady Wolves  another notch in the win column for the year.  The Lady Wolves now sit a perfect 3 and 0 for the season.

The Lady Wolves placed three players in double figures for the game with Shy Willis pacing the team with a career high 24 points.  She was followed by Tate Walters with 19 and Blair Wallis with 15.

The Lady Wolves will be in action this weekend as they travel to Dacula High School for their annual Tip Off Classic.  They will battle the Lady Rams of Grayson on Nov 23 at 6:00 pm.
