The Lady Wolves hunted and captured the 5A state championship this past Friday at the Macon Centreplex by defeating the undefeated Lady Longhorns 66 to 63. This is the fourth state title in a row for the ladies of Buford and the Lady Wolves have played in the last 10 out of 12 state title games. This is a remarkable accomplishment for this storied program in Georgia girls basketball.
The game was a war from the start with many ups and downs for the ladies in Kelly and Gold, so I will turn it over to the media articles that covered this title game below.
Congrats on this great accomplishment ladies and way to bring home another state championship!!
