Abbi Perkins, daughter of Daren and Lynn Perkins, recently signed with Jacksonville State University.  Jacksonville State is a NCAA D1 program that plays in the Ohio Valley Conference.  The Gamecocks have won conference championships 11 of the past 16 seasons.  

Abbi is a 3 year starter and 4 year letter winner for the Wolves softball program.  Abbi is the 2020 Region Player of the Year and the Gwinnett Diamond Club's Defensive Player of the Year for 2020.   Abbi hit .404 for her career, banging out 131 hits, with a school record 43 doubles, 17 Home runs and 120 RBIs.  As a senior, Abbi hit .408, with 9 home runs, 16 doubles and 52 RBI's in 40 games played.  The Wolves won 103 games in Abbi's 4 seasons, winning 3 Region titles and recording 4 Final Four state finishes.
