Lady Wolves Get Region Win and Fall to Holy Innocents Over the Weekend

The Lady Wolves experienced by victory and defeat this past weekend as they picked up a region win over Collins Hill and lost in a hard fought overtime battle vs Holy Innocents.

The Lady Wolves found their host Collins Hill prepared to pull an upset this past Friday night, but the ladies from Buford pulled away late to earn the 62 to 48 victory over the Lady Eagles.

The Lady Wolves were paced by 24 points from Ava Grace Watson and 15 and 11 from Lydia Ledford and Betty Nguyen.  

This brings their region record to a perfect 9-0 with only one region game left in the Lady Falcons from Dacula.  This game will be the last game of the regular season and happens this Tuesday night at the Buford City Arena. The tip off is 6:00 pm and it is also be a celebration for our four seniors, Ava Grace Watson, Alyssa Green, Betty Nguyen, and Cadence Jenkinson.  Come out and support these four great leaders of the pack on their senior night.  

Saturday, the Lady Wolves dug a hole in the first quarter, fought back and took a five point lead in the final minutes of the fourth quarter and then lost a thriller in overtime to the visiting Lady Bears of Holy Innocents. 

It was a clash between to great programs and produced many great moments for both teams.  When the battle finished, the Lady Bears clawed out the win and left the Lady Wolves wanted to fight for a few minutes and possessions more.

The Lady Wolves were lead by a great game by Ava Grace Watson with 31 points and a stellar performance from  Lydia Ledford with 26 points.  

Great weekend ladies and lets get the final win of the regular season this Tuesday night vs the Lady Falcons of Dacula.
